Cameron Gallagher is an American writer and director in the horror genre. Based in New York, he started making home movies from the age of five and began pursuing filmmaking professionally during high school.
He has directed multiple short films, including two for Crypt TV, "The Alive" and "The Forgotten," which together have garnered over a million views online. In 2021, his short "The Rickety Man" was featured as an official selection at the Screamfest Horror Film Festival, holding its premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. His later work includes the short film "It Visits Me," which was chosen as one of the "Best of the Month" selections on the Shortverse platform, and "Copy" (2024), which received over 200,000 views.
As of 2025, Gallagher has several feature film projects in various stages of development.
